Virginia "Ginger" Young
Meet Ginger Young
Since 2009, Ginger Young has worked as an immigration lawyer at Flowers Davis, PLLC. She primarily focuses her time and efforts on family-based cases, permanent residency cases, and naturalization cases. Ginger is an active member of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association). This organization is comprised of highly accomplished immigration attorneys who work hard to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field of immigration law.
She is committed to helping vulnerable clients who need effective legal representation. During her time in law school, Ginger was an intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Later, she worked for Fanning, Harper & Martinson in Dallas. Upon graduation, she continued working at the latter firm, mainly representing school districts and governmental entities in civil rights and employment litigation.
Ginger continued her work in the employment and labor defense practice at Thompson & Knight in Houston. She moved to Tyler after marrying her husband, Bob, and she began working at Flowers Davis, PLLC in 2000. During her first nine years at our firm, she concentrated on civil rights and employment litigation, mainly defending governmental and law enforcement agencies. In 2009, she changed her focus to immigration law because she found her passion in helping clients who wanted to create a better life for themselves and their families. Ginger has enjoyed immense success in this practice area and has helped countless clients over the years.
When Ginger is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bob, and her daughter, Olivia.
Ginger is fluent in Spanish.
